These terms apply to this website and to every order placed for bulls, cows, hay, straw or compound feed. By placing an order you accept these terms on behalf of everyone involved in your purchase.
Photographs, descriptions of our bulls and cows, and grading of our hay and straw belong to us; please do not copy them for commercial use. We keep the pages accurate, but conditions on the farm — weather, herd health, feed supply — change faster than any page can.
An order is confirmed only once we write back to say so. Payment terms, delivery schedules and cancellation policies for livestock and feed are set out on the ordering page.
An experienced ranch hand leads every tour, and your stay includes shared farm equipment, compound feed for the herd, straw bedding in the barns, and all the nights listed on the itinerary. You will need to bring your own clothing, arrange your own travel to the meeting point, and take out your own travel insurance before setting foot on the ranch.
Weather can turn quickly out on the range, and ground conditions or the state of the herd can force a ranch hand to shorten the day's work, move the cattle to another pasture, or call off a job entirely until conditions improve. That decision always rests with the ranch hand on site, not with the visitors.
Farm life carries real risk that no operator can remove entirely — working around Bulls and cows, handling machinery, and moving across open pasture all carry some element of danger. We are responsible for running the ranch with reasonable care and skill, keeping equipment maintained and staff trained, but not for loss or injury caused by weather, animal behaviour, or other conditions outside our control.
